Salvation is the act of being rescued by God from the penalty, power, and ultimately the
presence of sin — and being restored into a right relationship with Him through faith in
Jesus Christ.
• Sin — Our sinful nature separates us from God (Romans 3:23).
• Judgment — Without salvation, we face eternal separation from God (Romans 6:23). Saved by whom?
• Jesus Christ — who lived a sinless life, died in our place, and rose again to give us new life.

What does it mean to be 'saved'?
To be saved means to be forgiven of your sins and brought into a right relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ. It’s not about being perfect, but about trusting Jesus as your Savior and following Him as Lord.
Do I need to be baptized to be saved?
Baptism is an important step of obedience and public declaration of your faith, but salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8–9). Baptism is how we show outwardly what God has done inwardly.
What if I've made too many mistakes?
Can God still forgive me? Absolutely. No one is beyond God’s grace. The Bible says, “While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). Jesus came to rescue the lost, not the perfect. If you’re breathing, it’s not too late to receive His love and forgiveness.
How do I pray?
Prayer is simply talking to God. You can thank Him, ask for help, confess sins, or just be honest with what’s on your heart. Jesus gave us a model in Matthew 6:9–13, known as the Lord’s Prayer.
Which Bible should I read?
A good beginner-friendly translation is the New Living Translation (NLT) or English Standard Version (ESV). They’re easy to read and faithful to the original text.
