đź“– WHAT IS SALVATION?

“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” — Luke 19:10

Salvation means being rescued. Not just from hell, but from a life without God. We were all born into sin — separated from our Creator. But Jesus came to bring us back.

It’s not about religion. It’s not about being good enough. It’s about trusting in the One who took our place.

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast.” — Ephesians 2:8–9

🔍 A Clearer Look at Salvation
What is Salvation?

Salvation is the act of being rescued by God from the penalty, power, and ultimately the
presence of sin — and being restored into a right relationship with Him through faith in
Jesus Christ.

âť“ Saved from what?
• Sin — Our sinful nature separates us from God (Romans 3:23).
• Judgment — Without salvation, we face eternal separation from God (Romans 6:23).

đź’ť Saved by whom?
• Jesus Christ — who lived a sinless life, died in our place, and rose again to give us new life.

✨ Saved how?
• By grace through faith — trusting in what Jesus did (Ephesians 2:8–9).
1. Believe that Jesus is who He says He is.
2. Repent — turn from sin and toward God.
3. Receive the gift of salvation by faith.

🙌 Saved for what?
• A new life in relationship with God now (John 10:10).
• Freedom from sin’s control (Romans 6:22).
• Eternal life with God forever (John 3:16).
đź—ť Summary
Salvation isn’t about being perfect — it’s about being made new.
It’s not earned — it’s received.
It’s not religion — it’s a relationship

Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.

But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” —
Matthew 7:13–14
